Tools & resources to grow your business.

for nurse entrepreneurs

When you’re a new business owner, it can be overwhelming to try to figure out everything on your own. But it’s always been my goal to make your life easier — that’s why I’ve created this resource library for you.

website templates

Designing your website has never been easier with templates.

My biggest tip for any nurse looking to create a website all on their own is to buy a premade template and write words based on the flow of the design.

The "cheap" version of learning

automate your business

The CRM platform that gives you back your time.

Set up automations for sending your proposals, contracts, invoices, and calendar schedulers. Dubsado is for service-based entrepreneurs looking to automate some of the mundane and time-consuming tasks of running a business.

Protect your business

The contracts that protect you and your business.

Every website needs terms & conditions and privacy policy to be compliant with internet laws. And contrary to popular belief, I do not write either for the website projects I create. In order to do that, I’d have to be a lawyer — I am not one, nor do I plan to be. But Jaime, over at The Contracts Market, is and she’s created the terms and privacy policies you need for your website.

If you’re an independent contractor, coach, or copywriter, you’ll be thankful for having a contract in place if anything ever goes astray. And since you can’t predict unhappy customers, you might as well have a contract to protect you and your business.

Email Marketing
Made Simple & Beautiful

Send emails to an unlimited number of subscribers for a fixed monthly fee that lets you grow your list without any penalty. With Flodesk, you get the creative freedom to use custom fonts, gifs, and image collages, and their click-and-drag email builder makes it super easy to create beautifully branded emails.

I know everyone loves free stuff, too.

All the tools I personally use in my business with free and paid versions available.

Ubersuggest

Ubersuggest is an SEO tool that helps you get found on Google. It offers keyword research, competitive analysis, backlink tracking, and website audits. It has a free and paid version. Since my business is intimately connected with SEO, I paid for one of the lifetime membership options, and I’d recommend it to any business looking to optimize their online presence.

canva

The free version of Canva has everything you need to get started on creating beautifully designed graphics. I certainly used it for free for years, and I put off buying the Pro version simply because I could. But let me just say, I finally purchased Canva Pro this year for my business and I am literally never going back.

notion

While I use Google Docs for all my client-facing work, I use Notion to keep track of all my content creation across my website and social media platforms. I love it because you can organize your life, customize everything, and build automations. I even still use the free version after years on the platform (the free version has everything you need).

Google workspace

It may a “boring” business tool but it’s honestly the easiest to work with especially if you’re having clients review your work (like I do for my copywriting). I bought the higher tier of Google Workspace just so I could record my calls and use its transcript capabilities, too.

toggl

When I tell you there’s no other business tool that changed my life more than this tool, I mean it. Toggl is a time-tracking app and I use it literally every time I open my laptop. It has given me a tangible look at what I’m spending time on, and most importantly, helps me stay focused so I never mess up my stats. ;)

unsplash

Whenever I’m looking for polished stock photos, I check Unsplash first, and if you have a Squarespace or Wix website then you already have free access to the site.

GRAMMARLY

The only spellchecker I’ll ever use — Grammarly is a writing assistant tool that helps you improve your grammar, spelling, and style by offering real-time suggestions and corrections. It’s perfect for polishing emails, documents, and social media posts, ensuring your writing is clear and professional.

TAILWIND

I’ll be honest — I’m a die hard Pinterest girlie through and through. Tailwind, of course, is the only pinning app you need. Start with the free version and upgrade to the paid version when you’re ready to automate all things Pinterest.
